Thanks for stopping by our website. First Reformed Church is located in downtown Grand Haven, Michigan and is part of the Reformed Church of America (RCA). We've kept this site simple with some basic information about the church. Feel free to look around and find out a bit more about who we are, and if you have questions, feel free to contact us at anytime. The church building is currently open during the week with normal summer office hours (Monday - Thursday 9-2). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our primary weekly worship service is still online only. We also have a smaller in-person worship gathering on Sunday evenings at 5pm. This service is held outside in the church parking lot as the weather permits. If the weather does not cooperate, the gathering is held inside with masks and social distancing protocols. We'd love to have you join us for one of our online or in-person gatherings, and be sure to follow us on social media and get plugged into our growing online community.
Service Time & location
* Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently only broadcasting our Sunday morning worship services online. You can join us for a live broadcast of the service with a live chatroom every Sunday at 10am. The chatroom opens at 9:30am, so come early and enjoy some fellowship with others who are watching the service.
* You can also watch the worship service on demand at any time without the live chat feature.
* Join us for a smaller in-person worship gathering Sunday evenings at 5pm. If the weather is nice, we'll meet outside in the church parking lot. Otherwise, we'll meet inside with masks and social distancing protocols. Don't worry about what to wear. We have people who dress very casually, those who prefer to wear a coat and tie, and everything in between. Come just as you are and wear what's comfortable for you.
* Childcare and Children's Ministry is not currently being provided. However, we do have Kids Church Online resources available.

Without a King - What happens to a society when everyone feels they can do whatever they want? The book of Judges recounts a dark time in Israel's history when they lived through such a time. Although this book can be dark at times it also leads us to yearn for a loving King who gives order and meaning to life: Jesus Christ.
Important Updates, information & Links
Join us Sunday evenings at 5pm for a new in-person worship gathering. These services will be simple in structure (singing, prayer, and a short devotional message) similar to the outdoor worship gatherings we held throughout the summer. If the weather is nice, we'll gather outside in the church parking lot (bring a folding chair). Otherwise, we'll meet inside with masks and social distancing protocols in place. We look forward to gathering with you for worship!
5,000 Stories of Seeing and Experiencing God's Presence
God is present and active everywhere. Sometimes we just don't recognize it. Throughout this year, as we continue the journey of posturing ourselves to see and experience more of God's manifest presence in our lives, we want to develop our ability to recognize where and how God is at work in our everyday lives, and to develop a habit of sharing the stories of our experiences with others. It is our hope, this year, to collect 5,000 stories of how people are seeing and experiencing God's presence in their everyday lives. Click the image above to visit our online form where you can share your own story of how you've seen and experienced God's presence in your life. And feel free to come back as often as you'd like and share more stories as you experience them.
